I’m delighted to be partnering with one of our key transport clients who is hiring a Digital Business Development Manager to join its growing team in Edinburgh! It’s a very exciting time to be joining this organisation, with big growth plans and lots of opportunities to come in the next few years.

This role will sit in the Digital Team and is dedicated to leveraging technology to create exceptional experiences for customers and optimise online revenue. The team is developing a range of innovative products, from customer-facing websites to internal operational tools, and a cutting-edge eCommerce platform, which is expanding globally as a SaaS solution. You will be a focal point in establishing more extensive relationships, inside and outside the business, most notably, product, engineering, and commercial teams, to increase revenue and expand market reach.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and Manage Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, parking consolidators, and trade sales partners.
  • Representation: Be the face of the business at events, conferences, and on social media.
  • Lead Generation and Conversion: Proactively build and manage a pipeline of prospects, overseeing the sales process from lead generation to conversion.
  • Tender Processes: Navigate the complex world of airport tender processes.
  • Trade Relationships: Forge robust trade relationships with travel agents, local businesses, and public sectors to enhance digital partnerships.
  • Insightful Contributions: Provide valuable insights to shape our development pipeline and future digital products for existing customers, and prospective clients.

What we’re looking for:

  • A proven track record in managing commercial relationships, driving revenue growth through partnerships, and closing sales deals.
  • You’re passionate about technology and digital solutions and enjoy exploring new technologies to enhance customer experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • You’re self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to contribute across functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Package information: £48,500 – £56,500 base, plus excellent benefits.
